Center
for the Freshman Year Students
These students
will be admitted to the college if they meet the following
conditions:
- have declared an engineering
major
- completion of 30 or
more semester hours of credit in courses numbered 1000
or above
- LSU and overall GPA
of 2.0 or better
- C grade or better in
Calculus (MATH 1550 for ENGR majors or MATH 1431/1441
for CM majors)
Do You Meet
these Requirements?
- YES...You will be automatically
admitted into the college and invited to an Engineering
Upgrade meeting.
- NO...You must enter
UCAC (Center for Counseling and Advising) or another
college until you meet the requirements.
Students
from other colleges at LSU
Students
from other colleges at LSU will be admitted if they comply
with the above requirements for admission. Students transfering
into the College of Engineering must meet with a counselor
in the Dean's Office (3304 CEBA).
